Victorious Dogs - Terms and Conditions
1. General
1.1. Scope: These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Victorious Dogs, including group classes, one-to-one training sessions and workshops.
1.2. Training Methods: All training is conducted using force-free methods. Aversive techniques are strictly prohibited during sessions. Clients using such methods will be given alternatives. Continued use may result in being asked to leave the session without a refund.
2. Booking and Payment
2.1. Full Payment: All courses and sessions must be booked and paid for in full in advance to secure a spot.
2.2. Confirmation: A confirmation email will be sent upon booking, including details of any specific equipment required.
3. Cancellations and Refunds
3.1. Course Cancellations: Clients must give at least two week's notice to cancel a course to receive a full refund or one week's notice for a partial refund (50%).
3.2. One-to-One Cancellations: A minimum of three days' notice is required for cancelling a one-to-one session.
3.3. No-Shows: No refunds will be given for no-shows. However, for one-to-one sessions, rescheduling may be possible at the trainer's discretion.
3.4. Refunds: Refunds will be considered only in exceptional circumstances and are at the sole discretion of Victorious Dogs.
3.5. If Victorious Dogs cancels a course / workshop or one-two-one before it starts and a suitable alternative acceptable to the client cannot be found then a full refund will be given.
3.6. If Victorious Dogs cancels a class as part of a booked course and a suitable alternative acceptable to the client cannot be found then a refund for the price of that class will be given.
4. Client Responsibilities
4.1. Punctuality: Clients are expected to arrive on time for sessions.
4.2. Equipment: Clients must bring any required equipment as specified in the confirmation email.
4.3. Vaccinations and Health: While vaccinations are not mandatory, clients should ensure their dogs are healthy and up-to-date on vaccinations if desired, given the high interaction with other dogs.
5. Safety and Conduct
5.1. Location Safety: Training sessions are held outdoors or in a barn. Clients should familiarise themselves with the exits and safety procedures.
5.2. Behaviour: Clients must maintain control over their dogs and adhere to the trainer’s guidance. Disruptive behaviour by either dog or owner may result in being asked to leave without a refund.
6. Emergency Procedures
6.1. Emergencies: In case of an emergency during a session in the barn, all participants must exit the barn immediately following the indicated routes.
7. Dispute Resolution
7.1. Communication: Any disputes or differences of opinion should be communicated directly to Victorious Dogs through the provided contact details. We aim to resolve issues amicably and professionally.
7.2. Resolution Methods: Potential methods for resolving disputes include offering a makeup session, providing additional resources, or arranging a meeting to discuss concerns in detail.
8. Additional Services
8.1. Offered Services: Currently, Victorious Dogs offers puppy classes, improver classes, one-to-one training, agility, hoopers and some workshops.
9. Liability
9.1. Waiver: By participating in our sessions, clients acknowledge that dog training can be unpredictable and agree to not hold Victorious Dogs responsible for any injuries or damages that may occur during training.
10. Feedback and Reviews
10.1. Feedback: Clients are encouraged to provide feedback directly to Victorious Dogs. Constructive feedback helps us improve our services.
10.2. Reviews: If leaving a review online, clients should ensure it is honest and fair. Any issues should ideally be discussed with us first. For further details or questions, please contact us directly.
11. Photography and promotional materials
11.1 Photography : Victorious Dogs reserves the right to take photos and videos of clients and their dogs during classes, sessions, courses and one-to-ones.
11.2 Usage: These photos and videos may be used for promotional material such as Facebook, website, etc
11.3 Opt-out: if clients do not wish for their photos or videos to be used in this way, they must inform Victorious Dogs at the beginning of their session, or course. In such cases, no photos or videos of the dog or client will be taken.
12. Dangerous Dog Act
12.1 Our insurance does cover dogs on the DDA (Dangerous Dog Act) Including but not limited to xl bully types, subject to them having an exemption certificate.
12.2 The dog must be registered with the index of exempted dog (IED) and a copy of the life certificate is obtained and provided to us.
12.3 A copy of the public liability insurance certificate for the dog is obtained and provided to us.
12.4 The dog handler ratio is 1:1 with their handler at all times (this can be a member of staff or the owner aged over 18)
12.5 The dog is Neutered – in line with Government Rules
12.6 The dog is Micro Chipped
12.7 The dog is kept on a lead and muzzled at all times in public and classes
